WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

Do not let kindness and truth leave you...Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Proverbs‬ ‭3:1-7
For every person there is an end to human wisdom. All of us come to the end of our understanding of a situation or thing and know not what to do. We say things like ‘I am at my wits end’ or ‘I just don’t know what to do’. Many people turn to social media and attempt to gather large amounts of opinions and human experiences together pertaining to their issue, then choose the most popular opinion on the subject.

These things although popular are risky attempts to get a solution to weighty life issues especially when you are navigating the waters of change in you life, family, calling or career.

God weighs in here and says; Trust in Him, meaning God’s Word has the answer, trust Him. When you approach Him be prepared to obey Him and His solution instead of social media. Next, lean not on your own understanding. Your own understanding is limited to just your side and one sided opinions on social media. God understands the beginning and the end and knows the correct outcome that you desire. God also knows the negative and positive long term effects of your circumstance. Trust Him. In your ways let Him know you are trusting Him by following God’s instruction.

Lastly, Proverbs 3:7 says, ‘Don’t Be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and turn from evil’, the evil here is the thought that may come into your mind that you and social media know more that our Eternal, all-Knowing Heavenly Father. Trust in the Lord, lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in your ways and HE will make your path straight. Pray and obey. May the meditations of your heart be pleasing to Jesus.
