MEDITATION

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

Yoga is accepted in today’s culture as a form of relaxation. Rooted in the Eastern Indian culture, the center point of yoga is: “Know that which is called yoga to be separation from contact with
suffering" Gita (6.23).

Although on the surface attractive, the fact is Jesus Christ has made a way for dealing with suffering. The way is Jesus The Holy Spirit in every born from above child of God. Jesus calls His Holy Spirit The Comforter. The Comfort in times of trouble, suffering, disease, broken relationships, disappointments. To attempt by self mind control to rid your mind of suffering or stress is futile. At best you can think of diversions however when you awaken your suffering is still very real.

The Holy Spirit is the Wonderful Counselor. He leads you beside still waters, The Holy Spirit restores the soul when your inner thoughts are in turmoil and you need answers. As you pray to the Author of life He makes a way to move the mountains. He uses the pain, suffering and stress to shape and mold you into His Image. For your own good. Yoga and meditating on objects and positive experiences leaves you desolate.

The Holy Spirit gives good counsel when He says:
“that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;“ in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.” Philippians‬ ‭3:10,11.

Here is the breakdown of thought: to know Jesus, know the power of resurrection, know Jesus identifies with you in your suffering, know that resurrection means you WILL be raised and restored from what ever daunts you.

Meditate on these four things. Gain understanding by your Creator. The Author of Life.
Meditate anew on the resurrection power in you, Romans 8. The tender care of our Shepherd in Psalm 23. The faithful power to hold us in our stress and troubles in Psalm 91.

Meditate afresh on: “You(God) will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬...pray.
