WHAT'S YOUR VIEW ON THIS?

There are two filters we hear and see everything with. One is the world view and the other the Biblical view. When we are taking in information and experiences we naturally pass them through one of these filters and then live our life by the applied view.

The world view has to do with our IMM. IMM is I, me, mine. We assess how the situation or experience will affect our IMM. We plan around the IMM. If it doesn’t benefit the IMM we leave it and move on. That is in part the world view.

The Biblical view has to do with pleasing God. We assess our situations and experiences through the view of God’s Life in me. We assess everything though the Holy Spirit that is within the believer. The Holy Spirit is Truth. We are safe guarded in that when the Holy Spirit is in a person there is a constant counselor, teacher of Jesus who is the way, the truth, and life. The Holy Spirit is given to anyone who has been born of God by faith in Christ.

You may be wondering why life is so complicated and confusing when it is decision time. Could it be your view is only of the IMM instead of the view of the one that is in you? Or, you're living between two views and have double vision? Jesus said clearly, ‘no one can serve two masters’. IMM vs. Holy Spirit. What’s your view on this? What direction are you looking and hearing in?

There is a way to gain a Biblical world view. To clear up any confusion, doubt and double vision. There are 31 Proverbs in the Bible. One proverb for each day. Read it, listen to it and do it again everyday for six months. God Himself will change your view. A proverb a day. Read it with an whole heart and willing mind and do what it says. What a view!
