“but let the one who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me [and acknowledges Me and honors Me as God and recognizes without any doubt], that I am the LORD who practices lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these things I delight,” says the LORD.” JEREMIAH‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭AMP‬‬

NASA, the government’s space program reported, “Beginning in 2010, the Cassini space craft began a seven-year mission to collect information on the planet Saturn. The plan was to expend all of the spacecraft's propellant (fuel) while exploring Saturn, ending with a plunge into the planet's atmosphere. In April 2017.”

It took millions of dollars and seven years to collect information about a planet. The collection of very limited information ending in a burning ball of flames.

When Jesus bids us to ‘come and learn of Me and I will give you rest’ He is talking about an intimate understanding and knowledge of who He is and what pleases Him.

There are whole churches and millions of people that call themselves Christian and like the spacecraft all they really know is limited information. The knowledge is more like a history book than a living intimate relationship of thoughts and feelings.

It’s easy to act like scientist that collect a minimal amount of data and then create a theory but never get to the truth of the very thing they’re looking into. We create an idea based on limited knowledge and in the end we crash in a ball of flames.

God said it this way:

Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit, Through deceit they refuse to know (understand) Me,” says the LORD.” JEREMIAH‬ ‭9:6‬

You can be sure of this beloved, unless you know something and understand it...you don’t know it. Unless you have understanding and know Jesus, you don’t know God...and you can’t fake it because The Holy Spirit of God knows and sees.

Bible says, Jesus is the exact representation of the invisible God (Col. 1:15) and He Loves you so you can get to know ‘the Way, the Truth and the Life’ (Jn. 14:6).

God has given by faith, to each Born Again believer the Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit is in you so you can know the truth and the truth will set you free to be what God has intended for you.

Take your children on the journey with you. You are the primary teacher in your child’s life. Teach them how you are becoming intimate with Jesus. Take a friend or family member of the journey.

This pleases God.
